Property building in Hotel Asia Center of Japan
We knew, based on the pictures and description, that this hotel would be modest and no-frills, and we were fine with that. When we arrived, I was delighted to see that the hotel is in a quiet area, yet has easy walking access to a couple train stops. The rooms are minimal, but still really clean and comfortable with everything you need. For two people, the size of the room was great - not too big, not too small. The bathroom was a tad tight, but had the full bidet experience and a deep tub/showerhead combo. The staff all spoke English, and were very accommodating to our questions about how to navigate Tokyo. The buffet breakfast had both Japanese and Western options. It was the perfect way to start the day before walking all over town. Plus, there are free refrigerated bottles of water in the lobby

The very impressive breakfast buffet with very high quality and wide variety of healthy choices free of charge to foreign guests, the Japanese tea ceremony by a lovely kimono-clad Japanese woman (also free of charge!) scheduled during our stay that was a nice unexpected treat, the overall cleanliness, attention to details, refined and efficient service. The location is in a residential area ideal to those who want to avoid the tourist crowds in Tokyo yet only 5 minutes away on foot from 2 subway stations (Aoyama Itchome and Nogizaka), just a few stops from tourist hotspots Shibuya and Shinjuku. Very highly recommended!

The Hotel is really nice and has a superb breakfast (the taiyaki is delicious, I ate 4 a day)! The staff is very helpful and helped us order taxis for the airport. The hotel has regular events for the guests and the room is quite spacious for Tokyo. We stayed in a room for 4 people. The location is excellent and allowed us to return to the hotel for “pit stops” during the day in Tokyo. It is close to the subway and walking distance to Roppongi. One day I even walked all to way to Harajuku. The street is very safe even at night. Some days, I arrived at the hotel past midnight.

- Staff at reception speaks English, they are also very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff also did a great job. Never saw dirt, dust or hair anywhere. - Location is very good. It's in a quite neighborhood, there is a 7-eleven nearby and it's 5-min walk away from the metro station. Most touristic places take about 10-20 min. with metro. - Room is small (typical in Japan) but has everything you need. - There is coin laundry. Both washing and drying work well. - You can get free water from the lobby. - Bed was comfortable as well.

Hotel and rooms were very clean and while relatively small by western standards, the space is functional enough to make our stay comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast left us wanting a bit more but overall was still very good. The complimentary water bottles and various travel essential items from the lobby was an added plus and very much appreciated. The front desk people were helpful and was able to recommend a small hole in the wall sushi restaurant which did not disappoint. I would stay here again.
